The annual conference of F-CAPP will be held this spring with Pope Benedict XVI agreeing to a Papal audience with conference participants, which demonstrates the importance of this lay effort to his papacy.

National
Certificate Program in Catholic Social Teaching
Dates: September 17th to 23rd
CAPP in partnership with Catholic University of America will be holding its first Certificate Program in Catholic Social Teaching for diocesan leaders in various ministries. The program is being hosted by the John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington DC. Internationally and nationally know scholars from CUA and other universities will be presenting during the seven days. Participants will be housed at the Washington Retreat House in which they will join together as a community for worship and spiritual renewal of their ministries in addition to developing new ideas for programs based upon the principles of CST. They will also have a tour of the National Basilica, Mass with Cardinal McCarrick and dinner and Mass with Bishop Lori.
